Tessa was born and raised in Holland, graduated from the Culinary Institute of Michigan, and worked as a chef before trading restaurant life for the full-time adventure of raising her and Bob's daughters, Rory and Margot. Turns out she’s great at both, which is honestly a little show-offy.
She loves the outdoors, cooking, baking, live music, and spending time with her favorite crew: Rory, Margot, Obie, and her husband Bob, who benefits daily from her talent, patience, and extremely good taste in husbands. Tessa brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of joy to everything she does, whether she’s in the kitchen, outside with the family, or making everyday life feel a little more fun and a lot more delicious.
She’s the calm in the chaos, the brains behind plenty of the good ideas, and Bob’s endless inspiration, which sounds romantic but is also just objectively true.
